This link will always point to the complete story, and I’ll post here every time it’s updated. Two very important things about Chapter One:

1. Yes, the Doctor is involved, but he’s not going to be a big part of the plot. He mostly exists to show up once in a while and confuse/help the main characters.

2. I promise the rest won’t be quite this technical. I just felt the need to establish the rules of time travel, at least the way Alan and Ava have accomplished it.
